This 53-unit apartment building is in the Echo Park area of Los Angeles, California. The construction is four stories of Type V construction over two stories of Type I.
We expressed the first story's common spaces as a streetfront commercial look to enhance the pedestrian orientation of the area.
Outdoor open spaces are on balconies, the rear yard and the roof.
